“The biggest thing I have noticed are the photographs of me which I was very unhappy about before. In all of my photographs now, I am now smiling and it makes a big difference and people have commented on that.”

Fixed Dentures in Ealing & Hanwell

Do you feel self conscious and embarrassed about your dentures?
Our cosmetic dentures can give you the confidence boost you need with a beautiful, natural, youthful smile.

If you have missing teeth or have an existing denture that you are not happy with, our cosmetic dentures can give you a natural looking smile and fill you with a new found confidence. Whether with our seamlessly fitted partial dentures or dentures that is fixed to an implant, Sparkle will make you feel at ease about your smile.

What is a denture?

People wear dentures to replace lost or missing teeth. Made of either acrylic (plastic) or metal, they can be put in and taken out of your mouth.

Full or complete dentures are used where all your teeth are missing in either the upper or lower jaw.

Partial dentures are used where one or more teeth have been lost or are missing. They are fastened to your natural teeth with metal clasps or precision attachments.

We use a special partial denture called Valplast™ which is almost impossible to detect in the mouth. The material is exceptionally strong and unbreakable and completely eliminates the metal clasps that you may have seen on other partial dentures, thereby improving aesthetics.

Partial dentures are offer a removable option to dental bridges.

When would I need a denture?

You should wear dentures

  • If you have lost or have missing teeth
  • To prevent teeth becoming crooked or tilting
  • To prevent gum disease and bone loss
  • To prevent damage to teeth on either side of the gap

What is the procedure?

Using multiple layers of colours and translucency our cosmetic dentures blend in seamlessly with your natural teeth.

In your first appointment, we will take a mould of your mouth, which is the blue print for a wax template of your new teeth. We will select the teeth for your denture with you, matching them to photos of you with your natural teeth. You will be able to try the wax denture and changes can be made to your dentures at this stage to ensure your new cosmetic denture will look and feel like your natural teeth.

Our excellent laboratories will produce your dentures with precision and skill. In your final appointment we will fit your dentures and make sure everything looks and feels perfect to you.

What are the benefits of treatment?

If you have suffered with ill fitting or uncomfortable dentures, our cosmetic dentures give you the confidence you need to smile again.

  • They look completely natural
  • They help you look good and feel great
  • You can chew properly and are free to eat as you would with your natural teeth
  • Easy to maintain and relatively hassle free
  • Made to measure, you get the most comfortable and realistic fit
  • Dentures help to reverse the ageing process, giving your face and lips support, enhancing your looks and giving a more a youthful appearance
  • You can speak clearly

How will I feel after treatment?

We advise you to wear your dentures all the time initially so that you can get used to them. New dentures may feel strange or uncomfortable for the first few weeks or even months. You may find you produce more saliva and when eating you may have to start with soft foods before you can resume a normal healthy diet. Your dentures may feel bulky or loose initially whilst your muscles in your cheeks and tongue get used to holding the dentures in place. Once over the initial `teething problems’, dentures should be relatively hassle free.

Over a period of time, your denture will need to be relined, remade, or rebased due to normal wear and tear. In addition as you age, your mouth will change. These changes may cause your dentures to loosen, making chewing difficult and irritating your gums. You should therefore visit us for an annual check up.

How much will my cosmetic denture cost?

We understand that price is an important consideration factor. Like any dental treatment, the cost of a cosmetic denture is dependant on the number of teeth that are missing, where they are located in the mouth, the condition of your other teeth, the quality of materials used and the skill of the laboratory technician.

When you come to see us for your first consultation, we will determine the most appropriate treatment for you and provide you with a treatment plan and cost.

Your denture is guaranteed for one year.

To obtain an estimate for the total cost for your treatment, please call 020 8567 4344 for your consultation or email us.

What are the alternatives to the treatment?

Where you have one or more missing teeth, we also provide dental implants and implant supported dentures. This is where the denture is secured to dental implants providing the greatest level of stability.

Alternative treatments: Implant Dentures, Cosmetic Dentistry, Implants
